Eligibility check / License Order

Step 1: Monthly Income Limit

No matter your station's type, your monthly earnings should not exceed EUR 4,000.00 (or approx. US$ 4,200.00). This total income should include all your revenue sources (including any government or municipal funding). We may request proof if there are reasonable doubts. Please note that non-profit status does not count.

Step 2: Volunteer-based Operation

To qualify, your station's operation should be entirely volunteer-based. If you have a budget for paid staff, we consider you capable of paying the full license price. Community radio stations should prominently state their volunteer-driven nature on their website.

Step 3: What is your radio station category?

• This applies exclusively to radio stations with no broadcasts, simlulcasts, transmitter or translator feeds in any other frequency range

• This applies exclusively to radio stations operating in countries where Community radio broadcasting is recognized as a separate licensing category. 
• Your station must hold a Community radio license to qualify.
• Your station's primary purpose should be to serve the local community, and this commitment should be evident in all aspects, including your website, social media profiles, weekly schedule, team, physical premises, and more. Please note that stations primarily focused on commercial content or lacking substantial community-oriented programming may not meet the eligibility criteria.

• This applies exclusively to radio stations operating in countries where Low Power FM broadcasting is recognized as a separate licensing category. 
• Your station must hold a Low Power FM license to qualify. For U.S. stations, your call sign should have an LP suffix. 

Step 4: Stand-Alone Radio Station

To qualify, your station must operate independently, with no ownership connections to any other media outlets (radio, TV, newspapers, portals) or other business entities like advertising agencies, cable networks, productions or content providers.

Step 5: Single-Frequency Radio Station

To be eligible, your station must operate exclusively on one frequency, which can be either AM or analog FM. No exceptions here: small-scale DAB also counts, cable simulcast also counts, and your second FM frequency that provides the coverage extension counts as well, even with a transmitter as weak as 1W. A single web stream is acceptable, provided that you're running only one web stream that simulcasts your single frequency operation.

Step 6: Market Size

To qualify, your station must operate in a market with a population of less than 50,000 people. The number of actual listeners does not count; the determining factor is the total population that can receive the signal from your transmitter. You will be asked to provide a brief description of your station's market population later on.

Step 7: Website Banner

To qualify, you must place an AdMaster banner on your website, linking to our website (www.admaster.info) using a dofollow link. The banners are available for download on this page. You need to add the banner with the link within 7 days after purchasing your license.
